Our Story

Walnutport Door Company, LLC was founded in 1974 by James M. Gaston, a veteran in the industry since 1967. Despite initial plans to locate in Walnutport, PA, our founder purchased a property in Slatington, PA, and the name remained. Over the years, our company has undergone significant changes, with James' daughter, Jamie, and her husband, Alden (Chub) Farber, Jr., becoming owners in 1991. Alden has over 40 years of experience in the industry, specializing in residential and commercial installations.
